Troutmoor, Inc. dba Great Lakes Fly Fishing Company ships merchandise worldwide by United States Postal Service or UPS Ground, whichever makes the most sense based on the product. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this website pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. We will work with customers to resolve any damaged goods issues that occur during transit.

All orders received prior to 11:00 a.m. (ET), Monday through Sunday, are processed within 1 – 2 business days, upon credit card validation.

Michigan sales tax of 6% will be applied to all sales.

Shipping within the Continental United States
Troutmoor, Inc. offers free standard shipping on most orders shipped within the Continental US over $35 (merchandise subtotal is calculated before sales tax and after coupons or promotions) and will be shipped via USPS 1st Class, Priority or Media Mail. For orders totaling less than $35 (excluding taxes and shipping) the flat rate fee for standard shipping is $7.95. Shipping charges WILL apply to “closeout” and “sale” items. A street address is required for all deliveries.

For shipping charges on all other destinations, shipping charges are declared at the time of checkout. We ship via US Postal Service, UPS or FedEx depending on the package size, value and customer requirements. Orders typically arrive within 2-6 business days depending on your location. Items shipped directly from the vendor may have longer delivery lead times.

If a portion of your order is backordered, we do not charge you shipping on backordered items, nor will we tack on a shipping charge if a backorder brings you below the $35 mark.

Shipping charges on a returned item(s) cannot be reimbursed unless it is being returned due to a mistake on our part or the item(s) was defective in some way.

Import Duties and Taxes
Please note that your international order may be subject to certain import customs, duties and taxes imposed by your country upon delivery. These charges are NOT included in the prices and shipping costs listed. As the importer of record, you must comply with your local laws and regulations and pay all applicable duties, taxes and fees. Accordingly, we recommend that you contact your local customs office for an estimate of any applicable taxes and duties you may be charged upon delivery and for further information.

Backorder Policy
Backordered items shipping to US addresses are most often delivered via the US Postal Service. In most cases, you can expect delivery 3-7 business days after the item is back in stock. Backordered items shipping outside the US are shipped via US Postal Service. In most cases, you can expect delivery 2-3 weeks after the item becomes available. If your order includes both in-stock and backordered items, the backordered portion will be shipped at no additional charge. Delivery may take longer for some items. Troutmoor staff will communicate status on any backorder items via e-mail or phone call.
